Los Alamitos gears up for celebration

The community of Los Alamitos will be celebrating the 4th of July in grand style this year.

The family-friendly California event will feature an evening of activities. There will be a food court to serve the hungry attendees, at which various tummy temptations will be available as of 4:00 pm. There will also be vendors offering arts, crafts, and other fun items.

Vendors typically need Banners for their booths and often work with local Print companies for handling of the banner printing, which helps to depict the company and product being offered. Vendor space is available and may be reserved via the event website.

Sponsors actively participate in the event as well. With an anticipated attendance of 20,000 people, visibility is strong for promoting companies and organizations. Republic Services is the premier community for this year’s event, while other sponsors include Care Ambulance Service, Sea Air FCU, Los Alamitos Medical Center, Cottonwood Church, and the Shops at Rossmoor.

Admission is free to the event, but adults must have a photo ID to enter, and children must be accompanied by an adult. It is recommended that visitors bring lawn chairs or blankets as seating is not available.

The fireworks show will take place on the airfield starting promptly at 9:00 pm. More information is available at the City of Los Alamitos website.
