Local hospital to hold Halloween-themed activity in Los Alamitos
The MemorialCare Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital will be organizing a family event in Los Alamitos this October.
The MemorialCare Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital Long Beach Trunk or Treat is a community program where families can experience Halloween-themed activities in a safe environment. The event will be held at Little Cottonwood Park. The activities offered at the program include playing carnival games, riding a spooky train, and participating in a costume contest. There will also be an adults-only pie eating contest and a designated area for purchasing alcoholic drinks.
The Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital is a medical facility that forms part of the MemorialCare non-profit health system. MemorialCare operates four hospitals, two medical groups, and multiple surgical centers. The mission of the organization is to improve the well-being of others and pursue best practice medicine. Many events are held at MemorialCare’s facilities, such as support groups, exercise classes, informative seminars, and Zoom meetings.
The event will be on Saturday, October 21st from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. There are no tickets required to enter the family-friendly program, and registering in advance is not required. Businesses interested in sponsoring this event can contact the City of Los Alamitos Recreation & Community Services Department. Communities that put together child-friendly activities like these may use banner printing to help more families notice the events.
