Easter fun aplenty in Los Alamitos area
Orange County is celebrating Easter this year with a variety of events, and two of note will take place in and around Los Alamitos.
The City of Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department and AYSO Region 159 are hosting the annual Spring Carnival this April. There will be three egg hunts in separate age categories, along with prizes, food trucks, and vendors. Winners of the coloring and drawing contests will be announced, and guests can pose for photographs with Peter Rabbit. Vendor spaces are available for $25, or $50 for a food truck.
Also, Fountain Valley Recreation and Community Services is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on the same day. Visitors can take part in egg hunts, enjoy carnival games, make some crafts, tackle an obstacle course, or have fun in the bounce house or on the bungee trampoline. A pancake breakfast can be enjoyed for $5, along with pictures with the Easter Bunny for $2.
Los Alamitos area printing companies may provide marketing materials such as flyers to let the public know about this pair of upcoming events.
The Spring Carnival will be held at Little Cottonwood Park on April 4 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. For more information, call McKenzie Ricks at 561-430-1073 x515.
The Fountain Valley Easter Egg Hunt is also set for April 4, and will take place at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. To learn more, call 714-839-8611.
