The Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Los Alamitos, California will be hosting a play based on writer C.S. Lewis’s life later this month.
The play, called ‘My Life’s Journey’, takes place in 1963, where Lewis will be enjoying the company of a group of American writers inside of his home near Oxford. Phil Crowley, who is playing Lewis and is known for his role as the voice of the television show Shark Tank, will be entertaining the audience with this one-man play separated into two acts.
C.S. Lewis is a famous author known mainly for his book series The Chronicles of Narnia, which includes the well-known story of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
For individuals who are interested in attending, tickets for the play are $20 for all ages and the play will be taking place on January 19 at 7:30 pm and on January 21 at 2:30 pm. Part of the funds raised by the ticket sales will go to benefit the Grateful Hearts Storehouse, a nonprofit that provides food to the needy and emergency services to areas that have experienced disasters.
