Alamitos Eye Care has supported the Los Alamitos Education Foundation in the past by giving money to the King and Queen of Hearts Campaign at what is known as the Duke/Duchess level. Alamitos Eye Care has sponsored other Los Alamitos Education Foundation events as well, such as the State of the District breakfast with Dr. Sherry Kropp.

STEAM is an extension of the STEM education coalition, which focuses on improving the way that students learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEAM builds upon that by adding an emphasis in the arts, such as painting and graphic design. The Los Alamitos Education Foundation helps fund STEAM projects like elementary school media centers and the LAHS Robotics Team.
