Upcoming show offers education for horse riders

The Western States Horse Expo is taking place over three days next month.

The show is aimed at all levels of horsemanship, from beginners to experts. It is set to consist of horse competitions such as the Ultimate Super Horse Challenge, clinics, and seminars.

Some of the topics of discussion will include overcoming fear of riding, polishing up riding skills, how smart horses are, and "why does a mule do that?" Several experts will be on hand to provide tips and suggestions, including Clinton Anderson, Richard Winters, Eitan Beth-Halchmy, and Nancy Loving.

Another important part of the show is the Mane Market Mall. A variety of local and national vendors will be selling a range of horse-related merchandise, including clothing and riding accessories.

It is likely that people from all around the area, including those from nearby La Palma, will be visiting the show at least once. Many of the vendors may also provide Promotional Products to give away to those who stop by their booth.

The Western States Horse Expo is being held at the Fairplex Exposition Complex in Pomona from February 5 to 7, from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm each day. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children between the ages of 6 and 17; a three-day pass costs $45. Call 1-800-352-2411 for more information.
