The La Habra Corn Festival is returning to Orange County for three days next month. Hosted by the La Habra Lions Club, the event helps to raise funds for some of the charities it supports.
There should be something taking place that should appeal to every member of the family. There will be carnival rides, a parade, foods like funnel cakes and hot dogs, games, and a marketplace. Musicians performing this year will include No Tomxorrow, Aliyah Moulden and Friends, and the Farpointe Band. Visitors will have the chance to purchase arts and crafts, enter a drawing for a car, and take part in corn eating or apple pie baking contests. They can also welcome Miss La Palma and her court.
The Doggie contest will be handing out prizes to the top three in categories such as best dressed and owner-pet lookalike, for which there is a $10 registration fee. Other contests taking place are the Superhero kids costume contest and a baby contest for youngsters between 6 and 24 months.
Residents of nearby communities like La Palma may also want to attend the festival, and local Print companies may have provided Flyers to advertise.
The La Habra Corn Festival will be held at El Centro / Lions Park from August 7 to 9. Admission is free. To find out more about this event, call 562-691-3482.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Flyers
