La Palma residents who want insight and guidance should plan to make a trip to Fullerton for a special event.
Auntie PanPan will be doing an Oracle reading at the gothic boutique Ipso Facto. Oracle cards are used in much the same way as the more familiar Tarot cards, but there are differences. Contrary to what is widely believed, neither the Tarot nor the Oracle is meant to tell fortunes or predict future events. Instead, they are methods that allow people to learn who they are at the deepest level. The difference is that Tarot is more structured, with a 78-card deck that is divided into suits and organized by type and number. Oracle cards are less structured and more open to interpretation by an individual.
Auntie PanPan (aka Pandora), who is armed with biting humor and sarcastic wit, has been doing Oracle readings for more than 35 years in goth clubs in Los Angeles. She has also attended conventions in New Orleans, Chicago, and more, and is known to frequent Orange County donut shops. She uses the Psycard Oracle, which is based on Carl Jung’s theory of archetypes which can help people understand their subconscious.
The event is set for June 13, from 2.00 pm until 6.00 pm. Ipso Facto is at 517 North Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton, a short distance from La Palma. Using flyer printing is an effective way to advertise events like this.
