Rapper to appear near La Palma

A young artist who kicked off his career on a music-streaming website is set to perform near La Palma.

D Savage got his start on SoundCloud, a music-sharing site and distribution platform that allows its users to upload their own music, promote, and share it. It also has a function that gives listeners the ability to stream audio. D Savage, who called himself D Savage 3900 at the time, uploaded the first song he ever wrote, “30 Round Clip,” to SoundCloud in 2016. It received millions of streams.

The release of “30 Round Clip” proved to be his breakthrough, and Victor Victor Worldwide/Capitol Records signed him to their label. In 2018, the artist released his mixtape “D Phoenix,” which featured appearances by Yung Bans, Lil Yachty, and Ty Dolla $ign.

A native of Queens, New York, D Savage listened to many different artists as he grew up, including the indie rock band MGMT and rapper Chief Keel. Since he was a teenager, D Savage has known Tyler, the Creator, who went on to become one of the original members of Odd Future, a music collective in Los Angeles. For a time, Savage lived at Tyler’s house.

D Savage released his album “Trust No One” in 2019.

D Savage will appear May 21 at Bleu in Westminster, a short distance from La Palma. When events such as this are planned, Flyers are effective advertising, and organizers can use professional flyer printing to create them.
