Teenagers in the La Palma area will have the opportunity to attend teen dances over the next nine months.
Held at the La Palma Community Center on Walker Street, the dances are open to seventh and eighth graders.
The ‘Glow in the Dark Dance’ kicks off the proceedings later this month, followed by a Halloween-themed event on October 18. The program continues until next June, with dances offering such themes as Mardi Gras, rock bands, and the Wild West set to take place over the coming months.
Posters are often used to communicate about upcoming events like these and, when printed in full color by a professional poster printing company, attract a lot of attention. They can be hung throughout the region in foot traffic areas.
Tickets are on sale the week of the dance for $10 with limited space. A 2014-2015 Dance Fast Pass Admission will be available for $40 and will includes admission to five dances. This includes entitlement to a free pizza slice, which can be claimed during the ‘Glow in the Dark Dance’ coming up on September 20. The Fast Pass tickets may be purchased at the recreation center. School ID is required to purchase any of the tickets.
More information about the full teen schedule can be found on the recreation center’s website.
