Never Alone International, a local meet-up group with a chapter in La Palma, has a busy January ahead.
The organization provides resources and companionship for widows, widowers, and those experiencing divorce. Building friendships is a primary goal of Never Alone.
January events in the region are scheduled now. On January 2, the first monthly dance of the new year will take place in Whittier/La Mirada at 8:00 pm. The next day ‘Walking in the Craig Regional Park’ in Fullerton will start at 9:30 am.
Other activities in January include Never Alone International Bowling, a Meet and Greet Lunch, and Dinner at Java Spice, which serves Indonesian food.
The demographic for the group is people 40 years of age and older looking to enrich their lives through friendship and common goals. The group meets at different locations throughout La Palma with each person responsible for their own meal and other expenses.
The La Palma Never Alone group was found in February, 2011 by Sharon Newton. Annual fees are $4.00 and members can attend other chapters of Never Alone as well.
Poster printing is a viable method to advertise organizations like this to the community. The poster can include images, text, upcoming event dates, and contact information. When printed in full color with a glossy topcoat, the poster attracts attention easily.
