It may be some time away yet, but La Palma has already scheduled its annual Halloween Carnival, and plans are well underway.
The carnival is billed as a “spooktacular” event and includes lots of activities for the whole family. The purpose is to ensure the safety of the local children while providing a traditional experience.
Featuring a terrific costume contest, the local ghouls and boys will compete for special prizes, which are awarded in all of the age divisions. The ‘Goblin Gulch’ is also a fun activity for kids under the age of five. The other haunted area will be open to all ages within the venue.
The La Palma Recreation and Community Services Department has invited participants to have a carnival booth, which in turn is a community service project. Oftentimes, local Print companies are involved in creating marketing and operational materials for events of this type. Banner printing is a task that creates the signage needed throughout the event as well as for the vendors’ booths. Poster printing is also a way to communicate the event throughout the region to entice attendance and participation.
The Halloween Carnival will take place on October 31 at Central Park from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Admission is free. Visit the event website or call La Palma Recreation and Community Services Department for more information.Get a Free Quote for Print
