The city of La Palma is throwing a party—a Halloween bash, to be exact – and everyone is invited.
This is the 45th year for La Palma's Halloween Carnival, which promises an evening of family excitement.
There are a number of activities that are suitable for people of all ages, most of which have an Alice in Wonderland slant, including a costume contest, carnival-style games taking place in the Queen of Hearts Rose Garden, a Tea Party game specifically designed for kids under five, and a Rabbit Hole maze. If rain is in the forecast, however, the event will be canceled.
The costume contest schedule sees children two years and under enter at 6:30 pm, then kids from three to five entering at 6:50 pm. At 7:10 pm, the stage belongs to kids in first through third grades, then families take the stage at 7:30 pm. Finally, at 7:50 pm, it will be the turn of kids in fourth through sixth grades. The Pavilion is the site of the contest.
Events like these can benefit when organizers work with banner printing companies, which can create fun and festive Banners to display, making outdoor events even more intriguing.
The event is set for Monday, October 31. It runs from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm in Central Park on Walker Street, and is free for everyone to enjoy.Get a Free Quote for Banners
