For those teenagers dreaming of modeling or designing clothing, signing up for the upcoming 9th Annual Teen Fashion scene spring event in La Palma is sure to be high on the list of priorities.
This presents the opportunity to strut down the runway modeling favorite spring fashion for those between the ages of 13-18. Clothes from the most popular retail stores will be modeled at the Teen Fashion Scene.
Many teenagers enjoy designing their own patterns and clothing. Local teenagers will model the creations at the show. The Cypress Recreation and Community Services department sponsors the event for the youth in La Palma and Cypress each year.
Applications are now being accepted at various entities including Cypress Community Center, La Palma Community Center and online. The deadline to submit the participation application is February 6 at 5:00 p.m.
Often, catalog printing is part of the planning for public events. A catalog serves as a program and can include all of the participants with bios and images. Advertising can be sold to help offset event costs as well.
A mandatory orientation will be held at the Cypress Community Center on Thursday, February 19 for those designing or modeling. The Teen Fashion Scene will be held March 21. For more information, visit the event website or stop by the Cypress Community Center.
