La Palma area set for the spooks

A popular gathering of Halloween aficionados is on the schedule near La Palma.

For the last several years, Halloween and horror enthusiasts have traveled to meet kindred spirits in what has come to be known as the “Spook Show.” Organized by the Halloween Club Costume Superstore, this year marks the eighth event.

Spook Show began with the idea to create an outdoor gathering where horror enthusiasts and small businesses could get together to share their enthusiasm for all things creepy, and support the local community. To add a fun element, attendees wear full costume. The Spook Show has grown from a small party to a major celebration.

There is a long list of vendors who will be at the event, including Angel of Death Creations, which makes props, masks, dolls, and more; Bat in Your Belfry, a collection of macabre art pieces; and Dark Fantasy Furnishings, which revamps furniture into dark and macabre creations. There are many other vendors on the list, all offering strange, creepy, and macabre goods.

Organizers note that they will follow all local and state COVID-19 guidelines in force at the time of the event, and that these measures will be enforced. In addition, everyone will be required to wear a mask.

The Spook Show is set for the Halloween Club in La Mirada, a few miles from La Palma. Flyer printing can be used to publicize events like this.
