Classic car event near La Palma

Fans of a classic American automobile have an event just for them coming up near La Palma.

The Beach Cities - Orange - Inland Empire Chapter (BCOIE) serves Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties, and sponsors several annual events, among them the La Palma Car Show. For 50 years, the show is home to the biggest “All-Studebaker” get-together on the West Coast.

The BCOIE supports people who own Studebakers or are interested in them. They provide historical and technical support, help owners find parts, provide informative materials and videos, and the chance to participate in events such as the upcoming La Palma show. The Studebaker Drivers Club (SDC) and the BCOIE Chapter are dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of vehicles made by the Studebaker Corporation, from its earliest days.

The upcoming car show has some changes this year. There won’t be any judging, instead, awards will be based on people’s choice selections, one in each category. A live auction is planned, and a bigger raffle as well. In addition, people who pre-register their vehicles will receive a dash plaque, a commemorative plaque, and a 50th Anniversary Commemorative Mug.

The La Palma Car Show & Swap Meet will be held in La Palma Park in Anaheim, a short distance from La Palma, on May 26. This is the 50th anniversary of the event, which started in 1974. Organizers of events like this can work with poster printing to create advertising for the occasion.
