Aviation event continues near La Palma

A popular event is on the schedule again near La Palma.

Hangar 21 Helicopters is the organizer of the upcoming Antique Aircraft Display Day, a chance for people to come and get a close look at classic airplanes, and perhaps even take a ride on a helicopter or airplane.

The “Transient” parking will be the spot where the aircraft will go on display, located just to the north of the control tower and terminal building. Cars, trucks, and other vehicles confined to the ground will find parking designated for them in front of Wings Café.

Hangar 21 Helicopters will have a separate table set up, where visitors can purchase helicopter rides. The Fullerton Chapter of the 99s, the professional organization of female pilots, may also have rides available. Anyone interested should stop by their table as well. Events like this give exhibitors a chance to reach out to potential new consumers, which they can do by using flyer printing to create informational handouts about their company.

Antique Aircraft Display Day is June 11, starting at 10:00 am and ending at 1:00 pm, at Fullerton Airport, a short distance from La Palma. There is no admission fee, though people will be able to purchase airplane and helicopter rides separately. The event is suitable for attendees of all ages. The airfield is at 4011 West Commonwealth Avenue.
