Annual festival to celebrate local berry

The Knott's Boysenberry Festival is taking place in Orange County beginning this March and lasting for two weeks. The event pays homage to the raspberry and blackberry crossover, which was developed at Knott's Berry Farm.

With lots of fun to be had during the festival for people of all ages, entertainment will include dueling fiddlers, the Peanut's Party in the Park, Jammin' in the Dark with DJ Howly, and swing dancing.

With a leaning towards culinary arts, there will be plenty of food to be purchased that is made with boysenberries, including a popular barbecue sauce. Kids can take part in interactive pie making in the Toy Barn with characters from Bear-y Tales. Meanwhile, adults can try samples at the wine and craft brew tasting garden. Many of the activities come with an extra charge.

Families from all over, including La Palma, will likely make their way to the festival. Companies that provide booklet and flyer printing services are frequently asked to supply advertising materials.

The Knott's Boysenberry Festival will be held at Knott's Berry Farm's Ghost Town from March 28 to April 13, running from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm each day. Admission is $65 per person or $35 for children and seniors. Visit the official Knott's Berry Farm website to get the latest information on this upcoming event.
