The Irvine Global Village Festival is about to celebrate its 25th year in operation. The festival is a community tradition that celebrates world culture and connection.
The event provides a wide variety of family-friendly activities. Guests can learn about music and dance from around the world via live performances. A wide range of food options will be available as well, including global cuisine and traditional festival staples.
Art exhibits will be on site, allowing guests to expand their knowledge by learning about the history, food, and traditional dress of cultures from around the world. There will be plenty on offer for the kids too.
Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to shop in the global marketplace. It will host a range of vendors selling all types of handmade goods. There will also be a junior makers section, which showcases items created by young entrepreneurs. Since not all vendors accept cards, it is a good idea to bring cash as well. There is no ATM on-site.
Vendors at similar festival marketplaces in the past have brought Business Cards with them to help retain their new customers after the event ends.
The Irvine Global Village Festival takes place at Great Park, located at 8000 Great Park Boulevard, on Saturday, October 10. Its hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. There are multiple parking lots available, and shuttles will run from the overflow parking area.
