Salsa festival to heat up Berkeley

The Ecology Center in Berkeley, California, will be holding the Berkeley Farmers’ Market Salsa Festival next month at Civic Center Park.

The Berkeley Farmers’ Market Salsa Festival will be a family event that features activities and music for the community to experience. Live music performances will be provided by the Grammy Award-winning percussionist, Christian Pepin, and Fenix Dance will offer salsa dance lessons and demonstrations during the event. Children can visit the Kids Zone to have fun with hands-on activities run by the Ecology Center Youth Development Program.

International foods and alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase at the festival, provided by vendors like Big Little Bowl Soups, Desta Ethiopian, and Cafe Zambala. Food demonstrations and samples will also be offered at the event.

Arts and crafts vendors will have stands that attendees can browse while at the festival. Guests can even stop by a photo-booth to take selfies. Businesses that attend public events like this can distribute branded items like promotional Pens to consumers to influence their brand recognition.

The Berkeley Farmers’ Market Salsa Festival will be held on Saturday, August 10 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is no cost to visit the event, although people who are interested in becoming members of the Ecology Center can purchase a one-year membership for $25. The on-site Kids Zone will also be free for attending children.
