Known as the Festival of ‘ideas’, ‘Uncharted’ will hold a two-day event in Berkeley in October. The event was founded in 2013 and is known for encouraging discussions, debates, and its unique workshops.
Now in its fourth year, the event was founded by the independent news site, Berkeleyside, which believed that a gathering where individuals could discuss ideas and visions would lead to greater things. The event is a unique way for individuals and entrepreneurs to mingle and network. Those attending may want to make sure they have up-to-date digital Business Cards or for the event in case an opportunity arises.
The highlight of the event is the kickoff gathering the first night, which includes a lively party filled with music, food, and drinks. The festival itself does not include lectures but focuses more on individual interactions and workshops where attendees can exchange creative thoughts and ideas.
The event is open to anyone who wants to attend and, since it is a festival and not a conference, casual and comfortable clothing is encouraged.
The event will be held in the downtown Art District on October 14 and 15. Sessions will run from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm each day. The Friday night party will be held at the UC Berkeley Alumni House from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
