Freight & Salvage in Berkeley will be hosting a celebration in October to honor the release of Gary Muszynski’s newest CD.
Fans of live performances can celebrate alongside Muszynski as he holds a concert to commemorate his CD, titled Roots & Wings - Medicine Music. Muszynski will be joined by several musicians, including Frank Martin, Angeline Saris, Mark Summer, and David Worm. The band will play jazz music that takes inspiration from countries as far and wide as Brazil, Cuba, and India. Those who attend the performance are required to be vaccinated and show proof of their vaccination.
Muszynski is a composer and percussionist who founded the organization Orchestrating Excellence in 1987. His work has been mentioned in notable publications such as The Wall Street Journal and the St. Louis Business Journal. The celebratory concert will be held on Tuesday, October 26 and will begin at 8:00 pm. General admission to enter the event is $20 per person, while seniors will receive a discounted rate of $18.
