Berkeley wine company to organize party

Broc Cellars in Berkeley will be holding an event in July to celebrate its 15th annual pre-harvest party.

Broctacular is a program where people can learn about the products at Broc Cellars while participating in fun activities. Those who can legally drink can sample over 12 wines produced by the company. There will also be many food vendors attending, including Hog Island Oysters, the A16 Pizza Truck, and De La Creamery. Rob Reich and the Circus Bella All-Star Band will provide entertainment. The venue will even have free kid-friendly activities like face painting.

Broc Cellars is a winery based out of Berkeley that was established by Chris Brockway in 2004. The business was originally known as Grape Leaf Cellars. This year, the company became the owner of Fox Hill Vineyard. The winery participates in many events, such as the Gilman Wine Block First Fridays and the Nat Diego Grand Tasting. Broc Cellars will also be featured at the Outstanding In The Field event in November.

The pre-harvest party will be held on Sunday, July 30th and will begin at 11:30 am. Tickets to the winery’s celebration will cost $45 per person. Members and non-members of the company’s wine club will receive discounts on their case purchases during the event. Wineries that organize activities like this may use printing services to design and produce custom ads for their programs.
