The Finnish Hall in Berkeley will be organizing a special event in January to celebrate the Vietnam Lunar New Year.
Those interested in celebrating the Vietnam Lunar New Year can attend a party that features several performances and activities. One act during the party will be Le Tin, who is a famous Vietnamese comedian. Jenny Dan Anh, the winner of VSTAR KIDS, will also be performing at the party. During the event, attendees may take pictures with past crowned beauty queens and witness the crowning of this year’s set of beauty contest winners.
Businesses can purchase a space at the hall to set up a booth for the event. The cost of a table and two chairs during the party is $200. Companies wanting to become sponsors can pick the $500 option, which includes an on-stage introduction and being featured on the flyer printing for the celebration. Booths that plan on giving out free goodies during the event will be given a 10% discount. Two food vouchers will also be given to those who are sponsors.
The Vietnamese Lunar New Year party will take place on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from noon to 6:00 pm. The activity is free and appropriate for all ages, though guests must register in advance to secure a space. All attendees will receive a red envelope from the beauty queens and sponsors of the party.
