This weekend, the Berkeley World Music Festival will be held at People’s Park and Telegraph Avenue in California.
The Berkeley World Music Festival is an event that started as a block party in 1999 and later received its current title in 2004. The festival gives the community a chance to experience music from other cultures, with musicians performing both classical and modern pieces. This year, groups such as the Sikh Heritage Symphony, Simcha Trio, and Cornelius Boots will be participating in the festival.
