The California School-Age Consortium (CalSAC) will be hosting an intensive leadership retreat this December in Berkeley.
The Bay Area 3-Day Leadership Intensive Retreat is an event that is designed to help those working in out-of-school time positions with improving their leadership skills. The courses offered during the retreat will cover many topics, including coaching, management, and strength-based leadership. Those who participate in the event will be given a binder of resources, eBooks, and meals during the retreat.
CalSAC is an organization that is dedicated to educating coordinators and directors into becoming out-of-school time professionals. People who work with CalSAC have access to an online network where they can find additional training and mentorships.
The group hosts multiple retreats as a way of maintaining year-round engagement with their participants. Organizations that hold educational retreats such as this can use poster printing for advertising in local schools.
The Bay Area 3-Day Leadership Intensive Retreat will be held from Thursday, December 12th to Saturday, December 14th. The cost to attend the event will be $485 per person. The price does not include hotel accommodations, though there are several nearby hotels where attendees can stay.
All participating guests are expected to provide feedback at the end of the event, and those who attend will automatically permit CalSAC to use any pictures taken from the retreat on their website.
