Another Bullwinkel Show will be organizing an artistic sidewalk festival in August at Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley.
The 23rd Chocolate and Chalk Art Festival is a creative event where artists can participate in a community project on the sidewalks of Shattuck and Cedar Streets. Each participant will receive a designated area where they can draw pictures related to this year’s theme, which is Chalking Beautiful Music. Artists can work alone in their reserved space or receive help from family members and friends. The first 10 participants to register online will be given a complimentary box of chalk.
Several businesses will be selling tasting tickets for chocolate-themed menu items during the event. Tickets can be purchased individually for $1 or in batches of 20 for $20. Leftover tickets may be dropped into the festival’s raffle jars for a chance to win prizes from local stores. There will also be multiple vendors, food trucks, and stalls with activities for kids to browse during the fest. Merchants can give away promotional Pens during street fairs like this to connect with consumers.
The chocolate and chalk art event will take place on Saturday, August 13 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no fees for artists to reserve a spot for drawing on the sidewalk. A box of 24 pieces of chalk can be purchased for $10, and a box with 48 pieces will cost $20.Get a Free Quote for Pens
