Berkeley college to hold homecoming event

The University of California, Berkeley will hold its annual homecoming event in October for current students and alums.

The Alumni and Parents Weekend at Homecoming is a multi-day experience where people can experience the University of California, Berkeley through tours, presentations, and group events. Visitors will have opportunities to tour college facilities such as the Doe Library, Moffitt Library, and the Lawrence Hall of Science. Guests can also go on walking tours to learn about the Berkeley Bear Statues, the Spanish Language Campus, and the UC Botanical Garden.

There are several activities that people can join during the homecoming festival. Campus visitors will get to explore on-site attractions such as the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology. Other group events during the fest include the Annual Arleigh Williams Forum, the Student Affairs Cal-Nival, and the Bear Affair Tailgate BBQ. Sports fans can attend the Cal vs. North Carolina State Homecoming Football Game. People may hang out with other attendees during the Oski Wow Wow.

The homecoming experience will be held from October 18th to October 20th. There are some experiences that guests will have to pay to attend. The Golden Bear Luncheon will cost $75, and the Oski Wow Wow is $40. Adult admission to the Bear Affair Tailgate BBQ is $45.
