Halloween rodeo scheduled in Queen Creek arena

Queen Creek is having a Halloween weekend celebration this fall.

Horseshoe Harvest Hangout will feature a roughstock rodeo, carnival games, a petting zoo, food trucks, and a vendor marketplace. Rodeo events will include wild pony races, bull riding, and mutton busting. The vendor marketplace will offer a large selection of chain and local businesses. Vendors often use banner printing services to display their business names at this type of event. Local businesses will also be operating the Harvest Loop Small Business Carnival on the Saturday afternoon, which will offer free games and other activities.

Both people and pets can enter a costume contest, for which registration is available online. One of the region’s largest trunk-or-treat events will be on Saturday afternoon. Other activities include bounce houses and a slider eating contest. A full schedule of festival events is available on the Horseshoe Harvest website.

Festival admission is free, while tickets are required for the concerts and rodeo events. General admission tickets are $40 per person per night. This covers both the rodeo and the concert. Suite seating is also available. Parking is $20, which can be paid onsite. The festival is appropriate for all ages, and pets are welcome except in the covered arena.

The Horseshoe Harvest Hangout will be on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 at the Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Center in Queen Creek.
