The Kiwanis Club of Queen Creek is partnering with Queen Creek USD Family Resource Center to host the 18th Annual Kids’ Christmas Car Show & Toy Drive this December.
The event will feature 200 antique and specialty cars, trucks and motorcycles. Spectators can also enter a 50/50 and other raffles, and there will be food vendors and additional entertainment. The Kiwanis will be collecting toys to donate to local children in need, referred by the Family Resource Center.
Registration for vehicle owners is open until the day before the show as long as space is available. Online registration is preferred, but entrants can also register by mail. There are 200 slots, so the Kiwanis recommend that car owners sign up as soon as possible. The registration fee is $20 plus a donation of one unwrapped toy for a boy and one for a girl.
Vehicle owners should arrive between 9 am and 10 am to check in and set up before the show opens to the public. Plaques will be awarded to the winners in 40 different categories. Entrants can choose a category based on the vehicles’ decade, make and other details. Local organizations often use flyer printing services to promote this type of holiday event.
The Car Show & Toy Drive will be on Saturday, December 12, from 10 am to 2 pm, in Desert Mountain Park in Queen Creek.
