Ruggiero’s Ace Hardware in Queen Creek is hosting a neighborhood block party this February.
The Neighborhood Block Party and Fundraiser is free to attend and does not require registration. It will feature family-friendly activities for kids of all ages. Entertainment will include live music, balloon artists, caricature artists, and face painters. There will also be a petting zoo, free food, vendor booths, and giveaways to enter. Vendors often have Business Cards available for interested customers at community events. The organizers hope to provide a fun, high-energy experience that incorporates giving back and strengthening community connections.
Ruggiero’s will run a raffle fundraiser for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, which opened as part of Good Samaritan Hospital 40 years ago and has been operating independently for 20 years. It is currently the only freestanding children’s hospital in Arizona. The hospital conducts research and provides continuing medical education, as well as specialized patient care centered on children and their families.
Ruggiero’s is a second-generation family-owned hardware store that originally opened as one of the first Ace Hardware locations in the Phoenix metro area in 1978. The store hosts regular community events, including a monthly car show and grilling session.
The Neighborhood Block Party will take place on Saturday, February 28 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Ruggiero’s Ace Hardware & Feed in Queen Creek.
