Queen Creek farm readies for 4th of July celebrations

Queen Creek’s Schnepf Farms is holding its annual Independence Day celebration this summer.

Schnepf Farms has been hosting the event, one of the largest July 4th celebrations in Arizona, for more than 20 years. It includes a wide variety of entertainment activities like rides, mini golf, a ropes course, live music and a petting zoo. There will also be a vendor area. Vendors often give out promotional Pens at this type of community event. Food vendors will have a selection of food and drinks available for purchase, including summer favorites like snow cones, lemonade, hot dogs and hamburgers.

Tickets are available online now. The cost for general admission is $21 per person plus processing fees. Children two and younger can attend for free. Admission covers all of the activities except the train ride, which is $3 per person. Attendees can bring a cooler with sealed water bottles, but all other outside food and drinks are prohibited. Parking is free, and the event will go on rain or shine.

VIP packages are also available for $149 per person. These include access to a private bar, unlimited soft drinks and a catered BBQ dinner. There will be an air-conditioned barn and front-row fireworks seating for VIPs, along with additional benefits.

Queen Creek’s Hometown 4th will be on Saturday, July 4, at Schnepf Farms. Gates open at 2:00 pm.
