Queen Creek Botanical Gardens is offering early Mother’s Day hours for those looking for a peaceful experience this spring.
Early admission will start at 8:00 am, two hours before the Gardens’ regular Sunday opening. Families are encouraged to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and cooler temperatures the morning offers. The 3.4-acre Botanical Gardens highlight plants that are both beautiful and edible. The grounds include the Southwest’s only industrial-age water mill that is still fully operational, as well as multiple themed gardens such as Japanese, Medicinal, Formal English and Vertical.
Tickets can be purchased on-site or online in advance. The cost is $10 per adult, $7 per senior 60 and older and $5 per child aged three to 15. Admission is free for children under three. Early visitors should enter through the Farmers Market Tent. Pets are not permitted in the Botanical Gardens. This restriction is to avoid potential food safety issues because all produce from the Gardens is either sold or donated locally. Outside food and drinks are prohibited except for water bottles. Local attractions often use flyer printing services to promote their holiday events.
Mother’s Day at the Gardens early hours will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Sunday, May 10. The Botanical Gardens will remain open for its regular hours through 9:00 pm.
