A festival filled with feathery fun is on the way for Chandler, taking place over two weekends this March.
The yearly Chandler Ostrich Festival, which is a production of its Chamber of Commerce, is going to be making its return, and it is set to attract visitors from all across Arizona. The giant flightless birds themselves will be the guests of honor for the occasion, and the list of activities that will be on offer is extensive.
The festival harks back to the city’s early days at ostrich ranching, and the plans for the occasion include a midway with at least 50 rides, as well as national and local entertainers. Everyone can try their luck in the games, and food will be available. Educational activities are on the agenda, and an arts and crafts market, mascot meet and greets, and lots of other fun is in store as well.
Themed events give a community a chance to celebrate, and Print shops will be able to help add further excitement to these activities. They can provide banner printing and other assistance, all of which may fit in well with a function's overall budget.
The 2022 Ostrich Festival will be held from March 11 to March 13, and March 17 to March 20. Tumbleweed Park will be the location for the festivities.
