Village approves development near golf course

Developers in Menomonee Falls are hoping to put up 53 homes in a lot that is situated close to the Wanaki Golf Course.

The village’s officials recently approved the project. Construction is expected to start before the end of the year and it will be conducted in two phases. The plan shows that the 53 homes will be spread across 25.5 acres. Brochure printing is often used to promote upcoming real estate projects.

The development will be called the Glen at Wanaki. Plans show that the developers intend to provide numerous amenities such as a swimming pool, a clubhouse, a pickleball court, and a bocce court. Documents show that the project is designed to provide “hassle-free living” for its residents which is why snow removal, landscaping and gardening services will be provided for all the houses. The homes are expected to be sold for about $400,000.

Cornerstone Development is the company behind the project. The company is concerned that there may not be enough dirt available to complete the project all at once which is why it has been split into two phases. If the developers are unable to find enough dirt for the backfill, Phase II will be delayed.

Phase I will see 24 single-family lots constructed. The average size for lots in this phase is 13,469 square feet. The average lot size for the plots constructed in Phase II will be 15,254 square feet.
