Experienced line dancers sharpen skills
Menomonee Falls’ line dance enthusiasts may be interested to hear about a line dancing class that is set to offer Wisconsin residents a chance to improve their skills.
This four-week session is presented by Wisconsin Boot Kickers. The 4-week series is designed for the line dancer who is looking for an experienced teacher, has had previous line dance experience, and is comfortable with longer combinations, quicker tempos, and more advanced choreography. Step sheets and choreography notes will be made available to all enrolled students in advance of class time.
Facilitators add that line dancing is both a great way to stay physically active and to enjoy social interaction. The dances presented in the sessions are chosen to enable students to use them in a variety of settings, in addition to using them in the classroom. The facilitators also host monthly line dance events, pop-up dance parties, and open dance nights, some of which are free of charge. These events allow students additional opportunities to practice and apply the skills they learn in class.
Students should be sixteen years of age or older to participate. Total cost for the four-week series is $40 per student. This fee includes all instruction and class materials. Although the registration fee is nonrefundable, it may be applied to another individual if desired. Stationery printers are often used to print tickets, flyers and posters for local dances and classes like these.
This four-week improver and advanced line dance session is scheduled to take place on January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th at Bubs Irish Pub in Germantown near Menomonee Falls.
