University and company collaborate to improve college athletics

The University of Wyoming is teaming up with Trident Brands, Inc to record and better the mind power of the university's athletes. The Brookfield company, which is showing growth and is focused on brand recognition, serves the surrounding area, including Menomonee Falls.

Trident Brands, Inc is using its DHA Omega-3 supplement Brain Armor to study its effects on athletes and how it improves their game. According to president of Trident Mark Holcombe, clinical trials and research show Omega-3 is beneficial to mental wellness. Therefore, more people have wanted to test how Omega-3 supplements affect athletic performance.

Director of Sports Medicine at the University of Wyoming, Ryan Pinson, says the Department of Athletics at the university strives to make their students the epitome of athletic and academic ability through guidance and practice. Working with Trident is an opportunity to improve both and offer valuable resources to athletes who want to better their performance. Sports Dietician and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, Chase Chesterman, along with Rehab Director, Cole Vertz, rigorously pushed for the collaboration with the university and Brain Armor. Pinson is grateful for their efforts. Professional sports teams are no stranger to Brain Armor. It is also used by the NCAA.
