Princess Run to take place at Menomonee Falls
The Princess Run will happen at Menomonee Falls in May. The event is designed for mothers and daughters to celebrate Mother’s Day together.
Two race options will be featured at the event. The first is a 5K run that loops around Menomonee Park, and the second is a 1K Kids’ Run. Regardless of which race is chosen, entrants will receive a special race T-shirt featuring a graphic design for the run. The shirts are limited in number, but anyone registered before Wednesday, April 28 is guaranteed one.
The top three finishers for each age group will receive a custom medal. Race organizers will also give out medals to each runner regardless of their placing. The overall winner will be given flowers for their accomplishment.
The run will follow social distancing protocols. Runners will start in waves, and the race will have two lanes so participants can pass slower runners. No aid stations will be available to minimize contact between runners and volunteers, so participants are encouraged to bring their water to stay hydrated.
The event will take place on May 9. The Kids’ Run starts at 8:30 AM, and the 5K will begin at 9:00 AM. Registration fees are $32.50 for the 5K option and $20 for the Kids’ Run. The park can be found at W220 N7884 Townline Road.
