Menomonee Falls club to host RC airshow

Remote control aircraft fans and those who would like to learn more about them are welcome to be part of an activity on offer in Menomonee Falls this coming August.

The Flying Electrons of Menomonee Falls will be hosting an event at Flying Electrons Airfield, which is located at W61 W17000 Kohler Lane. An admission fee of $6 per carload will be charged at the gate.

Visitors will be able to view a wide assortment of these miniature aircrafts at what the club notes is its signature annual event. The pilots of these scaled-down flying vehicles will be showing off their aviation skills, and anyone who would like to try their hand at the pastime will be able to do so, as there will be certified instructors on site.

At noon, attendees will be treated to an airshow that features a ultralight fly-in, and a concession service will be available. At 1:30 pm, a raffle draw will take place where the proceeds from the day will be donated to local Boy and Girl Scout activities. A poster printing company can craft an assortment of marketing materials for this type of function that really grab the public’s attention.
