Employees honored by Menomonee Falls schools

The Menomonee Falls school system has recognized staff that will retire at the end of the year, along with teachers receiving Employee of the Year awards.

Some of the dedicated educational staff retiring this year are North Middle School special education aide Ann Linderman, reading specialist Sue Boquist, elementary school literary coach for the district Linda Braier, and Luciann Ullrich, a kindergarten teacher at Ben Franklin Elementary School with 23 years of experience. Combined, the retirees have over 120 years in the school system. Braier was nominated as employee of the year and is retiring.

North Middle School Associate Principal Scott Marty said:

"I can't say enough about Anne. She is kind, dedicated, caring, and definitely makes a difference every day she's (been at) North.

"You don't replace people like Linda, Lucy and Sue. Linda told me her goal was always to make students feel good about themselves. I know she's accomplished that time and time again."

Associate Principal of Menomonee Falls Mike Harris also mentioned how Boquist taught an impressive number of students to read through her dedication and caring methods.

Honoring school staff members might include making a simple banner to hang in the staff room. A company that already works with the school and does banner printing could be called upon to make one to show extra appreciation for the employees.
