What's Happening in Germantown, WI…

All ages can learn in Menomonee Falls

Education is the theme for June in Menomonee Falls as residents experience world history and students prepare for their high school career.

The Menomonee Falls Historical Society presents its yearly World War II Days on the weekend of Father's Day. This is the third year of the event, which will take place in Old Falls Village Park at N96W15791 County Line Rd.

The Facebook pages of this event and the Old Falls Village will provide more information as the date gets closer. Interested parties can also sign up for emails with the Historical Society.

On both days at 2:00 pm, there is a plan for the Axis and Allied troops to battle each other, following the success and popularity of the bouts in previous years. On Saturday night, the beer garden will be open while Command Performance Big Band performs. Organizers are searching for vendors to set up the day before.

High School Sneak Peek is a chance for students intending to enter Menomonee Falls High School after the summer. Students will learn the rules and regulations of the school and the geography of the campus, listen to guest speakers, and converse with high school staff. The seminar is three days long and registration starts May 30. The address of the school is N80 W14350 Titan Drive.

WWII Days are free to attend and take place on June 20 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and June 21 10:00 am-4:00 pm. Sneak Peek is from June 29 to July 1 from 10:15 am to 12:15 pm each day. Print services can provide educational material to pass out at such informative events.
