A company in Yakima is hosting a popular seasonal festival.
John I. Haas, Inc., is throwing the upcoming Haastoberfest 2026, which will take place at the Haas Innovation Center.
Event organizers are asking people to join them in raising a stein to celebrate the season with a classic Oktoberfest-type biergarten, which they plan to create by transforming the center into its German equivalent.
The centerpiece of the evening is the variety of beers that will be available, including both American and German hop, and other brews from around the world. Local IPAs will also be available. Live entertainment will be on hand too, along with German snacks. When they plan events like this, organizers often decide to use banner printing to create suitable decorations for the venue.
The Haas parking lot will be the location of the party, and organizers suggest that people who are planning to attend either carpool or use a ride share service.
Haas Innovations grows hops, brews beer, and expands the use of hops in order to push new aspects of aroma and flavor in beverages, beer, and more.
Haastoberfest 2026 will take place September 22, from 5.00 pm until 9.00 pm, at the Innovation Center on North 16th Avenue in Yakima. It is limited to those 21 years of age and older, and there is no charge to attend. However, anyone interested in going needs to RSVP.
