What's Happening in Woodinville, WA…

Woodinville Visitor Center now open

Three Woodinville organizations—the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, the Woodinville Wine Country Association, and Visit Woodinville—hosted the opening of the Woodinville Visitor Center on September 15.

The center, like others, offers both residents and visitors a location in which they can learn about things to do in Woodinville. The center is in the city’s Hollywood District, at 148th Avenue, Northeast.

Staff members there will be able to help visitors plan their visit to the city, which offers many attractions. Among these are the Sammamish River Valley, an intriguing downtown, several restaurants and breweries, and a growing number of wineries, which have made Woodinville a destination for wine lovers. There are tours of the wineries and breweries available, and the riverside offers a place for people to ride bikes as they take in the scenery.

Since the Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to strengthen and promote businesses, volunteers and staff members will be able to connect visitors and residents alike with businesses in Woodinville that are not related to tourism. Meeting and interacting with local businesses may encourage people to relocate to the city, either for work or for personal reasons.

Organizations like these can benefit by working with brochure printing companies, which can create illustrated booklets that describe communities and their various attractions and opportunities in detail, often accompanied with photographs or drawings.
