Woodinville is planning a city-wide party to kick off the holiday season.
Celebrate Woodinville Winterfest takes place in venues throughout Woodinville. Visitors to DeYoung Park will find kids’ activities, a chance to take photos with Santa for free, treats and gifts inspired by the holiday, seasonal beverages, performances by local schools, wreath making, and a tree lighting ceremony. Everyone is encouraged to bring a new toy to give to the Toy Drive.
Across the street in Downtown Woodinville, there is a Homeward Pet Food Drive, plus local food trucks. In the Schoolhouse District, visitors will be able to enjoy seasonal beverages, breakfast with Santa (it’s necessary to pre-register), the Great Candy Cane Hunt, a Winter Wonderland, the Woodinville Farmers’ Market, and S’more’s with Firepits, courtesy of District Flats.
Woodin Creek Village will be the place to find pop-up shops, face painting, a petting zoo, and live music, along with an opportunity to get a photo with Santa.
The Celebrate Woodinville Winterfest will take place on December 7, from 3.00 pm until 6.00 pm. The tree lighting in DeYoung Park is set for 5.30 pm. In the Schoolhouse District, S’more’s with Firepits will be available from 12.00 pm until 5.00 pm, and the Farmers’ Market is open at the same time. The Winter Wonderland is from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm, and the Candy Cane Hunt starts at 6.15 pm.
