Woodinville ready for Spring fundraiser
An upcoming event in Woodinville will help support an important organization.
The Columbia Collective (formerly Columbia Winery) will be the venue for the NVS Spring 2025 Fundraiser “Roaring Twenties.” The evening will include inspirational stories, live jazz, curated pairings of food and wine, door prizes, a live auction, and more. People are encouraged to get their Jay Gatsby clothes out of the closet and dress in the fashion of the era.
NVS stands for neurological vocational services, and the organization, which is a non-profit, offers a complete range of employment services to those people who are living with neurological conditions. The organization helps them lead productive lives.
The NVS raises funds to support the Neurological Vocational Services Unit (NVSU) and was created specifically to be the fundraising arm of the NVSU. The Spring Gala is its most important funding event, though it is also supported by sponsorships, grants, and private donations. The organization uses the money to support clients directly including licensing, emergency funds, training, and assistive technology, and to pay for marketing interns and employment specialists. A Board of Directors comprised of volunteers operates NVS.
The glitzy event is on May 18, from 12.00 pm until 3.00 pm, and the Columbia Collective is at 14030 Northeast 145th Street in Woodinville. When they plan events like this, organizers can work with brochure printers to create materials that explain their mission to those attending the event.
