What's Happening in Woodinville, WA…

Woodinville plans traditional event

A Woodinville tradition is planned, and promises to be a day everyone will enjoy.

The city has put the Celebrate Woodinville Festival on the calendar, and is inviting everyone to come to the party.

The days kicks off with the Community Pancake Breakfast, to be held at Fire Station 31, after which the Annual Community Parade will roll. A Basset Bash is part of the fun, as the dogs will be judged on such attributes as Best Howl, Best Waddle, and Longest Ears.

The Festival & Fair offers a wide variety of things to enjoy, including a beer and wine garden, tastings from local restaurants, a juried art show, activities for the family, and Music in the Park. The music this year is by Scott Clay Music, located in the beer garden; and Eli Rosenblatt, in Wilmot Gateway Park.

Aspenwood Cellars and Lobo Hills are among the list of participating wineries, and brewers taking part include Triplehorn Brewing Co. Participating restaurants include The 12th Dawg, and La Riviera Maya.

The festival is set for August 15. The pancakes will be served from 8:00 am until 10:30 am, with the parade from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Woodinville goes to the dogs at the Basset Bash from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at DeYoung Park, with the Festival & Fair in Wilmot Gateway Park from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Flyer printing can create handouts for attendees at events like this.
