Woodinville gets slice of the action with new pizzeria
A new pizza place recently opened in Woodinville, much to the delight of the city’s foodies, according to an article on Patch.com.
Zeeks Pizza is part of a chain, and held a grand opening celebration for the Woodinville location, which is the 17th restaurant in and around Seattle. The local Zeeks can be found in Woodin Creek Village, an apartment complex on 135th Avenue Northeast, in the city’s downtown.
Monica Pavelka owns the franchise. She has experience as a healthcare administrator, and was granted a degree from the Academy of Culinary Education. Pavelka says her mother was a “green card-holding Italian” and this influences her food today.
Pavelka said she visited her mother in Italy recently, and found herself surprised by the huge number of pizza places and bars operating there. She noted that these establishments have become gathering places and social hubs for residents of the neighborhoods in which they are located. She added that Zeeks has a similar vibe, which is why she wanted to own the franchise. She hopes to be able to bring a bit of Italy to Woodinville.
The first Zeeks opened in 1993 in the Queen Anne area of Seattle. The chain now has locations as far-flung as Bothell, Lynnwood, and Tacoma. Business card printing can be used to develop cards for use by companies like this in outreach efforts.
