Woodinville gets ready for the holidays

Woodinville is planning a party to kick off the holidays and everyone is invited.

The Celebrate Woodinville Winterfest is truly a community event, with various activities being held at locations throughout the city.

DeYoung Park is the site of the Holiday Fair and the official tree lighting. In addition, there will be holiday treats, a toy drive, pictures with Santa, and more. Overall, activities in the park are scheduled for 3.00 pm until 6.00 pm, with the tree lighting at 5.30 pm.

Another participating venue is Molbak’s Garden & Home, a family-owned business that was established in 1956. The center becomes especially festive at the holidays, with displays of wintry décor ranging from rustic to shimmery. Santa Claus will be at Molbak’s from 12.00 pm until 6.00 pm.

Among the activities in the Schoolhouse District is a “Walk Wine Row” Tour and the YMCA Holiday Breakfast, which will be served from 8.30 am until 12.00 pm, with pre-registration. The Woodinville Farmers’ Market will be set up from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm, and Winter Wonderland, a Candy Cane Hunt, and firepits with sweet treats will be available.

Finally, partiers can stop at Woodin Creek Village for hot cocoa, Santa’s Wine Cellar, visits from both the Grinch and Santa Claus, a display of lights, carriage rides, pop-up shops, and live music. When these types of events are scheduled, organizers can use flyer printing to create schedules to distribute.

Winterfest is December 3.
