Summer in Woodinville means outdoor fun, including a series of concerts.
The Woodinville Chamber is joining with the Northshore YMCA, Woodinville Wine Country, and the City of Woodinville to announce the 2020 Celebrate Woodinville Summer Event Series. The fun takes place in Wilmot Gateway Park, located in the city's downtown.
The events are suitable for attendees of all ages, and include not only various bands playing a variety of music, but an opportunity to enjoy sweets and food from restaurants in the local area, as well as craft beers from local brewers, and a cider, beer, and wine garden offering beverages from wineries in Woodinville Wine Country.
Although restaurants, breweries, and wineries are still be added to the schedule, the bands have been set. Attendees will hear from The Dogtones, Megs McLean Band, Prom Date Mixtape, and The Tropics featuring Emily McIntosh over the four weeks of the series. The Dogtones play rock and pop favorites from the past 60 years; Megs McLean is a country artist; Prom Date Mixtape is a cover band playing the hits of the 1980s; and The Tropics' songlist includes everyone from Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga.
The concerts begin at 5.30 pm, with beverages and food trucks; with the music starting at 6.30 pm. The evening ends at 8.00 pm, so even younger children can stay up. The concert dates are July 15, July 22, July 29, and August 5, and banner printing can provide fun decorations for outdoor events like this.
