Woodinville residents who watch “The Voice” are already familiar with an artist who will be appearing here soon.
Jaeden Luke, a native of Bothell, Washington, appeared in the 2022 season of the popular television show, and left fans wanting more. The artist credits his parents with giving him the unquestioning support necessary to pursue his dreams.
He says he was bitten by the performing bug when he was nine, when his parents gave him every CD the Beatles ever recorded. He decided that he wanted to be just as “cool” as McCartney, and began writing and performing songs. Everything stemmed from that beginning.
Luke has been praised for his soulful, lyrical voice, which has drawn comparisons to John Mayer and Ed Sheeran. He is also noted for the way he expresses his emotions in his songs, which have been called musical stories. This talent is particularly evident in “Beautiful,” a song he wrote for his sister, who was battling an eating disorder. The work was so powerful the National Eating Disorders Association recognized it officially in its outreach efforts.
Luke has opened for stars like Little Feat and Chris Isaak, appearing before an audience of 4,000 at Woodinville’s Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. He also records in Woodinville, at the Bear Creek Studios, where he created his 2022 EP “Anywhere.”
Jaeden Luke will be at Village Wines in Woodinville on May 11. When organizations plan events like this, they can use flyer printing to create publicity handouts.
